Schwinn 1965 Deluxe Stingray Original Coppertone Bike

Serial number is JAXXX so a Sept 1965 bike. I recently purchased in March of this year this bike from the original owner's estate. Bike was sold new in Fresno California and stayed in Fresno until about 4 months ago when I purchased the bike, has a Fresno bike shop sticker on the bike. Bike was in storage for the past few decades. This bike has been gone through mechanically after I got it home where it now rides great. The headset was greased/overhauled, front axle adjusted and oiled. Chain oiled up, the original blue band kick back hub shell was cleaned, but the bike rides and shifts great so it did not need to be overhauled, it really shifts nice and easy. I recently cleaned up this bike and it came out really well, rust that was on the chrome came off quite easily. Bike is all original that I can see except tires and seat. The original 1965 white deep tufted seat was in poor condition and I replaced it with a 1966 silver glitter deep tufted seat that is in good shape. Really a nice survivor type bike myself being the second owner. I and the bike are in San Jose, CA where it can be picked up which is what I would prefer. I recently sold a bike on Bring A Trailer that worked out well where I stated in listing I would bring the bike to any bike shop within 20 miles of me to have it packed and shipped, but buyer would have to make all arrangements with the bike shop which buyer did, we can discuss doing that with this bike if it needs to be shipped.

More Pics. Also if you are local I will consider Stingray bikes and parts in trade for this, either up, down or straight across depending what you have. I would consider a nice 5 speed Krate where I bring $$$ into the trade. Just let me know what you may have to trade, Stingray bikes or parts and we can probably work it out. Thanks
