Sold Schwinn Locking Blade Truss Fork

Hard to find Post war Schwinn Locking Blade fork with original longer length truss rods. (Pics provided with standard length rod for reference only, not included)

Steer tube measures 7 inches.

Bottom cap covering lock mechanism is missing. I believe it's the same for the springers. Mechanism is smooth and operates as it should.

Pins are original, but thin. Some black has been repainted.

Fork looks straight and ready to use.

Are those rods the 1953 + tapered type that were 1/2” in diameter at the axle and 3/8” in diameter at the truss rod plate?

This fork has the later tapered truss rods. Not the early post war consistent diameter.
