Picked up this 1917 Davis double bar a few days ago. I'm not sure if anything on the frame is original. Fenders maybe? Fork... maybe? Crankset, no, rear wheel no, super cool 1911 Persons Champion with "Security Clamp" angle adjuster feature (thanks @Jesse McCauley for the ID help!), probably not?
Anybody have any ad/lit showing a double bar where the bottom tube meets the seat tube like this? Kinda unusual! I wish I knew what badge it had originally. The "Badge" on it now is just a hand cut sheet of copper to cover the hole.
Hi Patric! I'm referring to how the second/bottom tube intersects with the down tube. Pretty much every other double bar frame I've seen has this tube intersecting the head tube instead.
