Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Here's an awesome 1927 men's Hartford Model E7 Junior Roadster manufactured by Westfield Manufacturing Company. This cool camelback features an old and fading green overpaint with the original blue paint and decals coming through. The original nickel on this bicycle is a mixed bag with plenty of patina to go around. That said, there are a number of places where the nickel is absolutely gorgeous, like the rear New Departure Model C hub.
The original Hartford badge is present and in good shape. The 28" Forsythe rain gutter fenders are straight and in nice shape. The 28" steel-clad wood wheels are in good shape and spin fast and true, with the rear wheel presenting better and with less patina than the front. The rear wheel sports a gorgeous New Departure Model C hub and brakes amazingly well. The rear wheel also sports a hardened 28" singletube Fisk Victor Road Tire. The front wheel features an unmarked hub in nice shape, but has no tire. Proprietary Westfield chain adjusters are present and in great shape. 26-tooth double-D chainring is clean, maintaining much of its original nickel. Torrington 8 pedals are straight and spin freely. The 1" pitch roller chain is clean and free-moving. The handlebars are Chicago Handle Bar Company No.6 scout bars with a matching stem but no grips. The black Troxel long-spring saddle is the cherry on top.
Here's your opportunity to grab an attractive, rideable (with tires), hassle-free 20s bicycle at a solid price. Simply pick it up (or reassemble it upon receipt if shipping) and ride it down the road. $775 plus actual shipping in the US or local pickup in Newburyport, MA. Payment via PayPal family and friends is preferred.
Please review pictures closely and message me if interested or with questions.
