These are really cool. I have a couple of pocket watches. It would be nice to find one of these mounts some day.

Wheelman's photos show the stem clipped in inline with the handlebars and the dial number12 at the top meaning the pocket watch shown is a side winding pocket watch.
The original ad illustration is for a vertical stem winding watch since the handle bar mounting clasp with screw is clocked 90 degrees from wheelman's photos.
Did they make these clasps for side winding and also vertical stem winding pocket watches OR does the pocket watch body clasping area rotate on the rivet?
I would assume that this body clasp to handle bar clasp with screw does not pivot.
