I first wanna start off by saying happy new years to everyone. Hope everyone’s had a great year playing with bikes. Overall I was very pleased with the year as I was able to add a few new additions to my stable. Here are a few that stood out most to me.

.
The first one to stumble in was this killer OG 1941 Colson Goodyear Double Eagle Clipper. A true survivor that rides great and always gets the public’s interest when out in the wild.
.
Next on the list was this 1941 Colson Firestone Cruiser Bullnose. This guy came to me house painted in a bazaar red and white color combo and was missing a few minor pieces. After carefully stripping the entire bike with a razor blade I was baffled to unveil this underneath! Hard to truly tell what the original color use to be but I don’t loose to much sleeping wondering. This one earned the title the Brown Trout Bike!
.
Next we stumble into the world of the 1937 Schwinn C Model. This was one I had on my bucket list for a few years now and finally got the chance to own one about part way through the year! I specifically waited for this exact bike based off it being the correct color, aerocycle rack, and tall frame design.
.
After going on a mens bike buying streak I was finally able to snag this rare color combo beauty! This 1939 Colson Firestone Snap Tank came to me pretty crusty and baked to the point that we didn’t even know it was brown! After a few weekends of chipping at It was finally able to bring it back to life.
.
A week or so after the womens Colson find I stumbled across this 1941 Hiawatha Women’s cruiser. This is one believe it or not was found in as in condition as shown here. Not sure where this one was sitting all its life but it was very well taken care of and has made a great rider for
@thecolsoncarrot.
.
Next on the list is probably my favorite find of the year. I came across this 1934 Colson Flyer Motorbike along the Cali coast. Luckily my cousin lived only 15 minutes from there and was able to go snag it for me. It was in pretty decent shape overall but needed a full service and a few parts to replace the wrong or broken one on it. The wild factor about this one was that it came with the an ORIGINAL GREEN TROXEL!

It was in very rough condition so decided to pull it off and display it in the shop for safe keeping. The new red troxel made a good replacement saddle. I also had had some wheels built and painted to make it a safe reliable rider. Thanks to everyone who help contribute to get this one going and on the road!
.
The last and final purchase of the year goes out to this 1939 Colson DeluxE snap tank!

It’s an original burgundy and white painted bike with a few cool deluxe features such as the prewar smooth top chrome delta winner light, chrome turkey wing chain guard, chrome chassis troxel saddle with crash tabs, chrome drop center wheels, and aluminum fenders. Not a bad one to end the year on if you ask me!
.
Looking forward to a new year of fresh finds, more trips, and more handshakes with new collectors from other parts of the country.
