A what? How the heck would a potato work?

Cut the potato in half. Push the cut side of potato into the broken bulb. Twist it off.

Ya ya ya ya... I googled it a while back. I believe the thread was 'what my mistake was and how did I fix it'. We got 2 full pages about a bulb socket. Any other 'mistakes and fixes'?
