If it's really Huffy, you might get the year from the serial number. Sears also most likely has the catalog number stamped on it.

The most common places to find relevant numbers are: 1) On a rear dropout, usually the left, near the rear axle, 2) Under the bottom bracket (bottom side of the crank tube) and 3) The headtube (the front tube on the frame the steering goes through).

Post pictures any numbers you find.

Sears was a retailer who sold bicycles made by bicycle manufacturers, like the Huffy Corporation.

The “507” part of the model number was Sears’ code for the manufacturer; the “4598” part of the model number would be reflected in the Sears catalog pages.

Huffy-built bicycles at one time, often had separate stampings, one for the serial number, and another series for the model, date and place.

So are u telling me there's another serial number somehwere??

See the 5th picture on the thread which I had previously linked on post #8; (not the eBay link).
On that orange bicycle the serial number and model number are stamped on the same part.
Note same model number 507–459801.
The serial number starts with a number for the year (say 6 for 1976?), then an H for Huffy, then six digits for the sequence number.

Maybe “9” for 1969, (or 1979?).

Because we do not see safety reflectors, then that indicates perhaps the earlier date of 1969.
