Cruisin' on my Bluebird
There are 3 antique shops a couple blocks from my house. Every spring they have their big "Spring Garden Sale!" It's a big deal. They get lots of people there. They set up several big tents and have mostly "yard art." UGH! The dealers haul out all the big stuff that they got buried at home . You know, the old wagon wheels, rusty milk cans and just plain crap. The wife likes it. That should tell you everything. Oh yeah, there's always a couple old rusty bikes. They think they're old... you know, 1970 Huffys. We're on our way to church this morning and I spot an older girl's bike as I rounded the corner. Couldn't tell what it was, so I stopped back later. Couldn't get my wallet out fast enough when I saw the $65.00 price tag on the bike. It's in great shape. Excellent candidate for an oxalic acid bath. The bike was being sold as a "garden bike." They will always go down 10% on their prices , but I didn't want to get greedy. Good thing I went to church this morning, as I had no intentions of going to the spring sale... The badge says, "Cadillac."
