Look Ma, No Hands!
I recently bought a restored Western Flyer and it has a Whizzer "H" engine on it. The PO said it was restored about twenty years ago. The owner passed and the PO got it from an estate sale. He had it displayed in his dining roon for about five years. Wife said its got to go! The only serial number I could find is on the bottom bracket. It is: A 12354 ACw. The 'w' is small and inside the 'C'. I think that means it is a combination of an AMF and a CWC frame. The rear drop outs look like the pre war style. I don't think the engine has been run since the restoration. Everything is clean and dry. Looks pretty new.

I would love to know what year it is because I worked at a Western Auto store for twelve years. It was owned by my wifes father. He is gone also, but it is a nostalgic thing. That's why she let me buy it! LOL. I'm looking forward to riding it around the neighborhood. Here are some pictures of it.
