Wore out three sets of tires already!
Sorry, no shipping, local pickup only. 3 Speed Stik Shift bike. The serial number is HDXXX which is an August 1968 bike. This is a really smooth riding, braking and shifting bike. The 3 speed stik shift is really tuned in and shifts very nicely. Coppertone paint on the frame and forks is original, the guard has been repainted a darker shade as you can see. Stik shifter besides working great really looks sharp with nice chrome. Seat is a Persons Stingray seat that has been recovered. The fenders are in good shape. The rear fender is the original wide razor edged fender with the original 1080 rear brake caliper. The rear wheel has been replaced with a Schwinn S7 wheel with a narrower rear tire than a wider slik tire on an S2 wheel which would be on here originally. Front has an original Schwinn S7 wheel. Handlebars are original Schwinn bars. Has a Daly City CA license sticker on frame. This 1968 3 speed Stingray bike has the same frame, rear fender, handlebars and brake caliper as the 1968 Krate bikes. If you have any Stingray parts or bikes to trade like seats, chainguards especially, or whatever you have, send me some pics and I will tell you if I want to work out a trade. A few nice Stingray chainguards or an original seat you want to trade may knock the price way down on this bike. Even a girls Fair lady, Slik Chik, or Stardust in nice shape I will consider in trade. Contact me if you would like more information on this bike. Sorry NO SHIPPING. Pick it up from me in San Jose, CA only.

Would love to add this Stingray to my collection, been looking for one a LOOOONG time. Still won't ship, you bad to sad.

Take a couple days off & "ride on" over and go pick it up.
I hear it's beautiful this time of yr.
You deserve it for Christmas! 😉😃

Yeah Tommy boy, I'm gonna drive all the way to the land of kooks and nuts to pick up a bike. You go pick it up, not worth a weeks worth of driving for this. Guys cutting his own by not shipping. Besides I just bought a new motorbike for Xmas.

Being born and raised here in California I do not like it when the state is referred to as the land of kooks and nuts. It is kind of like having a family member or even a good friend that may have some faults as we all have and hearing someone speak ill of them. Even if there is some truth to what they are saying you feel like you need to come to their defense. I am like that when someone speaks ill of California. I am pretty middle of the road and rarely speak or care to politics to anyone and I know this state as I would think a lot of states have problems. But California is my home and I just wanted to stick up for my home state here.
As far as cutting my own throat regarding not shipping bikes, I have explained that on here many times. Just my own personal choice and I will agree 100% that by not shipping a bike it really limits ones ability to sell it, and the amount also they can receive for the bike. It is just a personal choice of mine to weigh the options of shipping a bike and not shipping a bike and who knos I may change my mind on that someday. For now I am just a guy that chooses not ship bikes to selling them in person which limits any potential problems that may occur and have occurred to me in the past even though I am limiting greatly to whom I sell to and in turn that may very well limit the prices I receive. Guess I just mainly took exception to the terms "land of kooks and nuts", and "cutting his own throat". And during the Christmas Season, Oh well.

I have developed a relationship with my local bike shop, I just get the bike to him after the sale, and make sure the buyer and the seller have each other’s contact info. They work it out. Bike shop guy has boxes, packing material, his bike shop is also a U-Haul dealership, and he knows what he is doing. He makes a bit on the shipment, it was so worth it seeking him out.

Just a suggestion. Merry Christmas.

Nothing personal, the holidays are just one big bummer for myself. Happy Holidays to all Cabers.

I sent ya a DM. I'm willing to help. Consider it an early Christmas present.

Jojo is one of the nicest collectors you'll find! Always ready to help a person in need. If you need a hand @razinhellcustomz ASK! or if your no longer interested just say so. Maybe you already spent your wealth this Christmas on your E-Bike woops I meant "motor bike" "RIDE ON"
