Finally riding a big boys bike
Finally found something cool worth posting! Thankfully this bike looks like it has not been messed with at all and has the perfect even wear to it. The only shame is the rot in the front fender! Have no clue how it got so bad in that one area when the rest of the bike is so nice! Guessing this is a Maroon and cream? Excuse my cats photo bombing haha

Hanging upside down under a small leak in the barn roof.
 
Definitely battery acid damage .. I had a bad one that I got years ago ... My guess it happened while stored with the front wheel hanging on a hook or upside down from the ceiling so when the batteries went the acid build up just ate away inside the tray compromising the fender ... good news is another replacement fender is not that hard to find ..

Pretty sure you are both right as this is what I just pulled out of the horn tank! Yikes….thankfully it only ate the horn switch battery housing and tank is fully unharmed 😬
