If you have, or used to have, a 1953 CWC Roadmaster Pleasure Liner, or a 1953 Luxury Liner please post pictures of it, and the serial number. You can omit the last 2 numbers of the serial number if you prefer. I would like to see a picture of the head badge, the tank, the seat tube decal for sure. What I am doing is trying to nail down when the AMF decals and badging began appearing, as closely as I can. I have 2 Roadmaster Pleasure Liners that are original, stamped 53 Cw and the head badges are pre-AMF, and the seat tube decals are the muscle man Cleveland Welding, and there is no AMF decal on the tank. My husbands Pleasure Liner is black and white, E799 ** and my ladies Pleasure Liner is metallic green G917** and both stamped 53Cw.
I have come across a ladies metallic green Luxury Liner that is H977** and it has AMF decals on it. I also saw one just like my metallic green Pleasure Liner that was badged with the AMF head badge, seat tube AMF decal, and was H342**, and I saw another ladies metallic green Pleasure Liner that was A681** all badged CWC. These were all stamped 53Cw. I believe that somewhere between G917** and H342** they switched over from CWC markings to the AMF markings. I just find it interesting and would like to see if we can narrow the gap with more serial numbers and details, and end up with a better idea of exactly when the AMF branding began on these Pleasure and Luxury Liners in 1953.
Help me if you can. Thanks,
Deb

Where do you go to type in the serial number? To learn more about the history of each bicycle.
