Sold 🐺Fresh Find 1943-45 WW2 Era Civilian Production Schwinn Cycletruck!👽

Fresh find has been sitting for many years and has recently brought to light. Missing its basket, struts and drop stand, this otherwise appears complete with originally equipped parts. Electro forged bottom bracket shell with serial number K55547 indicates production between 1943 to 1945. Bicycle has been house painted with an off gray color over the original head badge which is present. Appears to be the original heavy duty drop center wheel set. Rear tire is incorrect 26" x 1.75". Rear coaster brake hub is a Morrow blackout heavy duty unit. The hub has some stubborn grime I've not been able to read the date code and spoke guage as yet, however spokes are heavy duty front and rear measuring 0.11". In addition to the gray house paint the balance of the parts are either blackout or augmented with additional black paint in the distant past. Front hub is high flange type. Messinger sliding rail seat is likely original. Correct Torrington bar. Schwinn high-rise razor stem is bent to the right but could be straightened. Nice crusty but intact Torrington Signal pedals.

That would most likely be a 1943-44 model, most likely a 1944. The seat post should be EF'd to the bottom bracket. Schwinn did not produce the CT's in 1945 and 1946.
