This is an unrestored Schwinn Motobike most of the parts are original to the bike. The wheels are custom built Velocity Blunts on vintage hubs with Schwalbe tires. The seat is stamped motor bike and is the original leather. This bike rides awesome.
I'm also curious as to how you came up with the year.... I agree it looks Schwinn especially the trumpet welds. I also agree probably later due to the truss rods not being welded to the fork. Have seen them welded to the fork as late as '27.
Any chance you can post serial for reference? Did you get a date from the crank?
I will post photos of the serial and the crank. There was also some anecdotal info that came with the bike when I got it that it was a 1923 motobike and
"some" facts to back it up. Being close to 100 years old, you never know what some kid in the 40s 50s 60s etc may have switched or changed.
