I live for the CABE
Up for consideration is this stunning original paint 1936 Schiwnn built Mead Ranger Double Diamond frame. No dents or dings anywhere on the frame, straight as can be, just the normal wear and tear on this 88 years old frame. I didn't spend a ton of time on the detailing, but I did use some green stuff and 0000 steel wool to get past the old mud and grease. The chrome forks are peppered in the normal places and the Ranger brown paint is still intact between the shoulder flats. The down tube "Ranger" is still intact and has a great patina to it, most of the pin-stripping is intact as well. Minimal paint loss. Perfectly patina'd in all the right places. Photos tell the story the best. Shipping will be $70 for the CONUS and shipped through Pirate Ship. (If it's less I'll refund the extra and if it's more I'll eat the overage) :)

Serial Number - M9521

I hate to let this one go, but after Marty fixed up the '35 so wonderfully, I think it's time for someone to have their hand at making this complete again.

Happy Bidding! :)

Did these fenders have a big indentation for the fork like the Schwinn fenders? I aquired a set of mead fenders in this same color just not sure what they were for? I’m not as familiar with mead as I am with Schwinn.

Schwinn built the Ranger bicycles(Mead Cycle Company)-but had some special features. While Schwinn sold bikes thru a network of retail stores-Mead Cycle sold most of their bikes through mail order and clever buy as you ride programs! Answer to your question-yes-same long indentation.

Ok thanks I know they came off of a Mead Ranger but the indentation is smaller for possibly a blade fork but they are this same color. Thanks for the information!
