Sold 1939 twin bar- Zep style

Up for sale is a 1939 Hawthorne twin bar. It has a lot of heavy patina but as you can see the blue is original. This one has been in front of my house displaying the American flag for years. I hate to see it go but it’s time. The shifter handle in the middle is for display only. Found it at a farm sale. All parts move freely. There is one weld on the frame which I show in the photos. It was repaired long before I ever found the bike. It seems solid and could be cleaned up. The seat was just stuck back together with some fabric glue. But has a great look. A Morrow rear hub. As you can see from the advertisement photos that this one was a twin not a zep, so it did not come with the tank. $550 Shipped.

To everyone, just to be clear. When I said it held my American flag in the front yard, me being a veteran, it has never stayed a night outside or been rained on for the 5 years I have owned it! It was driven to the curb and back to the garage...

BTW- the skaters lantern on the handlebar hanging by a chain is dated 1867......
