Sold 1967 Raleigh Sprite 5-Speed Mens

For sale is this very nice 1967 Raleigh Sprite 5 speed bike. This is the nicest early Sprite I've ever come across. Frame is a 23 inch men's frame. 26 x 1 3/8 wheels. 1967 dated Sturmey S5 hub.

Original plastic shifters are intact. Original sheet metal bell crank intact.

Extremely nice paint and graphics. Has some small scratches and paint chips, but not many.

Good chrome.

New Michelin tires. Original, good Dunlop tubes with screw-down Shrader valves.

Original cables and housings in good shape.

Dare brand finger grips.

Nice Prestube rear carrier.

Brooks B72 saddle is original and a bit dry. You'll probably want to use a newer "rider" saddle to save the original if you're going to ride a lot.

Has a set of 1960s waffle block pedals on it for riding. Will come with the Raleigh platform pedals it came with (bent and in a bag).

Selling to make space for a couple older bikes I need to finish building.
