looks like the bike in the background took a bad spill how cheap is it......

PM to Brownster. I don't remember what bike that was but I probably still have it and it probably is for sale! I have lots of stuff for sale right now!

This bike was built by the Snyder corp., and basically the same as their 'house' brand, Rollfast. Monark did build Firestone bikes through the mid 50s, but a 1959 ad in the Evolution I book shows all Snyder built bikes. At some point, in the early-mid 60s, Huffy and I think AMF took over.

I have a Zenith that looks like the same model

I just purchased a bike that looks just like this except for the chain guard. It's a Zenith sold by Marshall Wells department stores, but I don't know much more about it. The serial number is C125432 and is on the left rear drop-out. I've posted a photo of it in this thread:

What size tires are on your bike? I'm trying to determine what the original tires were for mine.

Thanks for the info!

Tammy, I think the tires are 26X1.75... I think. It's been awhile since I actually looked at the numbers on them!

This girl is still for sale! Can deliver to the Akron, Ohio swap (March 2) Would love to make a giant package deal!!

Lowering the price to $200 PLUS Shipping. or, I can deliver to Butler show next weekend.

Gus came up with "THE" decal set for this bike! PERFECT set!
