Just for future reference, the photo of the bar & stem in my original post at the top of the thread is from my '62 violet Superior.
I finally retrieved it from storage so I could make the measurements.
I had replaced the original narrow bar with a wider 42 cm bar(I detest narrow bars!), so I know this works, but may not be exactly the same diameter as the original.
With my digital calipers I measure the bar o.d. at 24.0 mm and the collar o.d. at 26.9 mm
