When you are ready to get that restored, @Paul Watson does a great job with this saddle (photo credit: Mikey). Sadly, for some reason the leather on this model is typically shattered.

Below is another version Miami made called: "Old Comfort Special." The leather on these hold up much better. Photo credit: Dean.

What Bicycle did the
“Miami Old Comfort Special” Saddle come on? The one I posted on FB, that you wanted to buy?

This is the best I can do right now, I do not have access to all my literature at the moment. It is an awesome saddle!

The Miami Comfort, Racycle Climax, Miami Scout, Old Miami Comfort were not specific to any single Miami badge marque. I can't wait to see your Flying Merkel 424 as it is the only model that uses the Miami Comfort.

Shucks I don't have the 424 frame... I have a 21 inch racer frame 7/8 inch diameter single diameter top bar can provide pics when I can take some nicer ones. It does have the bottle cap badge hole in the neck (I didn't drill it in either-lol) I Think were in solid Flying Merkel territory with this one...Ill present pics of it shortly to you all for "scrutineering". Rick

Yeah that’s interesting I have just aquired a Racycle badge with a cap back and red lettering cursive “Racycle” any idea of the years of manufacture, or models etc that had them?
