If this was a compelling story for the mass market we would already see it in distribution. You can be sure the production company is trying as hard as they can to get it into distribution so they can make money. The fact that no one wants to distribute it says a lot. The people viewing this sight are THE target audience and we are split on wanting to see it. I’m not holding my breath, especially since AI enhanced content narrated by Lance is of little interest to me and I love Schwinn bikes.

Go ride your vintage Schwinn bike, that tells you the real story of Schwinn.

I watched (4) new YouTube vids on Schwinn a few days ago and I flat out wanted to puke. It's funny all these hit UTube when the move appeared in Colorado.

The Schwinn story has now become so watered down that nobody will want to go to a theater and spend money to see a sad, rather uncompelling, poorly composed story they can easily see online. Unfortunately, what we are having to endure is just another "missed opportunity." The really depressing part is that people like winners, not losers.

They stole the name of a book and then they misinterpreted and misrepresented the story. Bad karma.

I see absolutely no way a movie like this one can help our hobby. When's the last time you saw a parent let his child ride a bike to school?

As a parent and grandparent I'm deeply concerned about my kids safety "IN OUR SCHOOLS" today. Forget about letting them ride a bike safely to and from school. It's just a different world we are living in today. Sadly kids "unfortunately" don't ride a bike to their schools today for many good reasons.

Right or wrong, good or bad, the documentary should be released. We need to "actually view it", in order to "review it".

We might agree that it has a long line of "red flags" waving, starting with the title "borrowed" from the book by the same name. Then no word of any new investigative reporting after the book was published, and the final insult is hiring a blood doper, that strongarmed his team riders to cover for him as the narrator for the documentary.

Maybe it will not bring any new information to the hobby, but it should be released for viewing.

I appreciate your point of view but because of the dearth of originality, the use of AI, the choice of Armstrong and the fact that I have already read the book
(which did receive critical acclaim), I will not pay to see the "movie" in a theater. DOA.

@AS-1 I think we should both watch this documentary, but I do not think we will ever need to purchase a ticket at the box office. This thing will end up on one of our cable TV channels like the Science, or History Channels. If it does not make it to Cable TV, it could be competing for space on You Tube

Only time will tell.
