Automoto 3-speed in Friday Chicago sale

Just saw this. Advertised as a “Crazy Vintage Sale” of misc. items in Chicago area Aug 2. Bike looks complete. No address for sale yet. I am not in Chicago area. See https://www.estatesales.net/IL/Chicago/60613/2303919

I've never heard of Automoto before. According to Wikipedia, it's French, looks '50's. I doubt it's very valuable, but would probably make a good rider. And you would probably have the only one on the block!

Automoto is a good-quality French bike. Some of the sportier models are worth quite a bit of money now. This one looks like a basic utility model, but still should be reasonably well made and have a lot of nice little touches that make it differ from an English Raleigh or the like. If that bike came up locally and fit me, I would bid on it. I say go for it if you have the money and time.
