Alrighty. I purchased that teal Bicrosser in the beginning of this thread. Turns out that it wasn't teal but lime green as evidenced by the steerer tube. It was kind of rough so I made the decision to restore it. No replating but there was judicial use of a brass wire wheel. The saddle is still at the upholsterers and we're still looking for proper brake levers. I decided to "install" a few defects in paint to match the imperfect plating. Worked out the original decals and supplied the artwork to a printer I trust.

We do this stuff here in my shop... all except the upholstery and the actual printing of the replacement decals. We used to print the decals too until our ALPS printer died. Once the saddle comes back I'll post a photo. It'll be in a rotating exhibit in our planned bicycle museum om the second floor of the shop with a handful of other BMX models. It may find it's way into an alternate exhibit showcasing bicycle suspension.
