Charles Voegtly (1861-1945) sold bikes, buckets, pots, pans, kettles, lamps, bird cages, and other stuff at this hardware store in Burns, Oregon, 280 miles southeast of Portland, around 1900.

Voegtly had 16 siblings, and five children.

Put some new shoes and a giant obnoxious klaxon on my ‘33 Emblem and took it out for a three mile shakedown cruise. .... Oh, and the klaxon worked great, scared the hell out of a couple people.
