I knew you would be the knowledgeable one on these bikes. You have me convinced it is an original Special Edition. Reflector King. I do have a question . Were the futuristic reflectors made in white ? I thought red was the only color.

The serial number is key

The serial numbers on my 1950's Huffman-built Western Flyers start with the characters "5H" for 1955 and "8H" for 1958.
Not a backwards "H5...".

The "H5..." serial numbers are wrong for a 1950's Huffman-built bicycle; (but may be correct for a 1980's or 1990's bike).

to explain the photos.. funky stuff going on in the head tube area.. first thing wrong

second. the sticker on the seat tube is a clear sticker, not a wet on decal.. thats the most evident.. aside from..
thirdly, those are 90s cranks my man.. the cranks and stickers give this one away.

Ain't really worried about the opinions of others when it comes to negativity just funny to see all the egos here. I guess they just passionate I get it lol.
