Thank you @Superman1984. From the few bikes I’ve seen the strips were on the rims, remnants of the strips were on this bike when I got it. The shine took a lot of time and elbow grease.

This looks like a steel version of the aluminum bike. Has anyone seen a steel bike as shown in the patent drawings?

To American National “ Skippy Line “
The Skippy Racer scooter with the sleek design ,showing lower fender , trim
Fittings to mimic airplane Rudder.
Mid 1930’s

Reverse double bar rams horn bars only
Seen on American nationals - specifically Skippy tricycles
Until now seen on above bicycle
Similar fat flat fender braces also

William Baumker had patents with Hettrick Manufacturing AND American-National. Both used same Patent Attorneys ALSO.

These designs look very close to the Aluminum Tricycle...

Sam Snell from American-National. Similar patent drawing to the one by William Baumker, but with a design closer to the tubing on the Aluminum Tricycle.
Sam Snell has almost all the patents on the Skippy Health Tricycle.
