Let’s see some late 70’s/early 80’s Cruisers and Spitfires

Picked up a 1979 Cruiser 5 speed today and it came with some cool accessories.
I’ve had plenty of the owners manuals, but the shop envelope is a bonus!

I call it the Island Hopper build .... I ran into TC's son @ the local Swapmeet & got a picture of him with the bike ... he said the same thing ... Original owned & painted by the Bassett family ... got it from a friend & resurrected it with the 80's gold OG parts & pieces to what it is now

Today was a first. Went to look at a bike and when I got there it looked like someone went to town with a can of black spray paint! I kinda groaned and the lady says “yeah if you don’t want it i completely understand…it survived a house fire! So all the black I thought was paint…was soot! Yeah the tires were pretty cooked but as I checked it out the black was just powder and was rubbing off! Since the owner was already saying she didn’t mind if I bought it, I ended up getting it for a really nice price! Should clean up nice!
