@Nashman I was only referring to the pan itself. Although Schwinn typically used a specific pan as called out above. If someone decides to use your seat on a Schwinn, as soon as it’s on the bike no one can see the underside of the pan. So it looks the part! It’s a beautiful saddle, best of luck with your sale!
Thanks Mark. I appreciate your knowledge. Bob

Am I out to lunch on my price on this thing? I get lots of likes, but no interest? Sheesh.......

Beautiful saddle and market price range. It’s a demand thing and apparently there isn’t a party in need at the moment.
Ha!! I'm not losing sleep over it. I see lots of cool stuff on here that sits. I'm not quite on my last dollar ( ours is worth .50) either, so that's ok too!! My S/W floater sold quick and the buyer was great to work with and is happy. Overall, I've had success buying/selling on the Cabe and reap valuable advice, info, humour and friendships, love the CABE. Only been on 7 years, but my roots go back to Leon Dixon in the early 80's, Thad Pinnix, Scott McCaskey, Larry Busch, Bobby U, Bicycle Larry, Pete Deiterich to name a few.

In all my years of collecting ( over 40) I've never had an unhappy buyer when I've chosen to sell an item. Shipping from Canada to the U.S. is safe and easy, all on me, gets delivered to your door by USPS. Ebay ( nsuser) all pos FB is at 1659 since 2002, mainly buying the last 5 years based on the crazy fees and administrative gong show selling on the International site from Canada. They wanted me to collect taxes from American buyers. Thanks for your input Mark.

Is that a reference to the seat post clamp? Is it that ugly or incorrect? Most guys have several clamps sitting around that are in the hobby. I had a tool box saddle on a Canadian bike ( '38 CCM Flyte/ large 9/16" post?) and put it on my Hawthorne Flo Cycle ( 1/2" post?) and may have used a clamp in part. Most Canadian seat posts are larger so it's always a pain moving a seat from different bikes/designs/International.

If that clamp is an issue, obvioulsy it's not for a purist or a newbie. I've been in the hobby since the early 80's ( my mentor was Leon Dixon, then the late Larry Busch), riding a bike since the 60's so it's not my 1st rodeo. I know you do seats and fine leatherwork ( and nice ones at that) for a business, so perhaps I'll get a correct one from you or my pal Bobby U if it doesn't sell/pretty sad if that's a big deal. I have bought stuff from you before, lots from Bob/seats/bikes ( we go back over 3 decades) and I have at least 3 seats from Josh.

Life is not easy living on an iceburg. Most of my bikes ( 38 at last count/trying to cull the herd, but selling nice bikes here for more than $1.00 is hard) are American balloon or middle weights, but I have some CCM's and an old 80's BRC beach cruiser my G/F digs because it's light and has a 3 speed twisty. If u ask Leon the Socal mentor i am sure he can define what is correct and what is not …. the real question is who determines which one of the experts is really correct… defenition of expert is one that likes to hear himself talk….. so to add my expert two cents …… when they ran out if those exclusive padded emmbossed seats and had orders to fill and had these seats on the shelf they didnt put them on those bikes they told everyone the bike was “backordered” isnt that a modern day retailer term? no one really knows what is correct there is the version as advertised in the literature and the bench composed version as subjected by inventory …… and then the fact these bikes were toys and there is the accessorized version ……. like most dealers lets skip a sale so that its correct
