Was there a time in the early 1920’s when Mead had some kind of in-house frame-making capability, (not sure of racers)?

The 1920 catalog seems to show Davis and Great Western Mfg. features, and the 1921 catalog seems to show GWM features, as well as another racer sprocket

Again, serial number will be telling, but I believe it’s the same basic bicycle as below. The telltale 30’s Westfield characteristics for me are the “Racer” decal and the narrowing of the seat tube 3/4 of the way up.
