Sorry, I’m still learning. I don’t know all the rules so I don’t know if I did.

With, or Without Motor? Just asking?

John

With out motor, for this one John;
thanks for asking.
There's ones with ice cream, beers, on the down-low,
and of course Bike Parts.
All types welcome,
all types show up.🥰

@Jrodarod missing you. @Rust in time

Now, I would say with motor, since there will be plenty of examples to see without the motor.🤔
I’m sure, there will be some enthusiasts there that would like to see what a power cycle truck looks like.
Just sayin’
But, that is up to you John.
Variety is the spice of life.

Agree, it's a lot of different parts tossed together to make a useful rider, no different than what we are doing today keeping these old bikes going.

The things I find interesting is the Bicycle Shop plaque on the front of the basket, looks like they donated the Cycle Truck? It has a late model fork, but an early model (axle mounted) center stand. The front fender looks cut down. The front fender brace looks fabricated, I do not see a center stand clip. The front wheel is wild as you mentioned. The rear tire looks like a middleweight (1.75) on a S2 rim. The fork looks new, or newer than the rest of the parts, looks new enough to be a silkscreened, and not a hand done pinstriping. Rear fender brace mounting shows it to be a Post War frame.

Very cool photo, thanks for posting, sharing.

I'd bet every Cycle Truck that attends the Convoy could tell some interesting stories.

Off to the Gym to get my legs in condition for the big ride. Will we be allowed "feeding zones" and "outside support" from team members handing out CONVOY Musette Bags? Any rules to prevent Blood Doping on the ride? This should get everyone ready for Marty's TDF coverage.

John

Ya I saw that “Kantor’s bike shop” but can’t make out any other words, not a S2 rear, looks more like a Worksman and seen those front wheels on utility carts and such. Cool the guys gitting a sandwich or a piece of cake out of a coinopp Wind O Mat or stocking it.

I pulled this picture from one of the SF Rolling Relics ride. I don’t know who owns it. It caught my attention because of the electric pedal assist conversion. Hope to see it again one day, maybe at this ride.

This is my buddy Matthew's bike. He is from the north bay. He did a killer conversion on this thing. He actually rode it from his house in i believe San Rafael, to the ride, did the ride, and rode home. Hell of a feat... assist ot not, for a cycle truck.
