I'm prepping the unpowered Schwinn Power Cycle Truck for THE Convoy, replacing damaged cones, rebuilding with new grade 25 bearings throughout, correcting the headset with a tandem WZ CT heavy-duty machined headset, and installing new Schwalbe "Pick-Up" Cargo e-Bike-rated tires, as well as new gearing and anything else that needs to be done.

It will, of course, still be Cycle Truck Slow, Cycle Truck Ponderous!

Let's overflow the Orange Circle with Cycle Trucks!

You make me proud young man. It's amazing what a little labor time and $5,000 in replacement parts can do to improve the looks for an orphan bike. LOL

Going back in this thread and seeing the lady riding in the Cycle Truck basket kind of sets a standard for The Convoy. Riding a bunch of industrial commercial delivery trucks without any loads "in the basket" goes against the image of a Cycle Truck, and why would Trucks be in a Convoy when they are empty?

I propose a 50# minimum load weight for the small basket Trucks. And for the "fit guys" that must have a large basket model and also multi gears the minimum load goes up to 75# for the handicap just to keep it even.

On second thought maybe, we should just equip. each Truck with an oxygen bottle for the riders when going up the hills on the bike path.

Vintage coolers with dehydrating alcoholic beverages is all you need for the weight and liquid courage to get up those hills.
