The serial # on this Schwinn made Rev O Noc stumps me, I'm sure its earlier than the # indicates.
One reason is the original Rev O Noc stamped Mesinger seat, another is the crank nut and last but not least the early International Stamping fenders. Yet doesn't have built in drop stand stops. Cliff

Sure looks like it is. The serial number falls in between the bicycles shown in posts #6 and #25 of this thread.

By the 240,000 serial numbers, it looks like the truss rods were bolted to the axle, versus attached to the forks by brazing.
