For sale is an original Schwinn C-Model?This one has the straight rear wheel stays of frame instead of curved. Not sure on year. Motobike decal visible on tank. Bought this locally and bike is local to area. This is how I got it and the guy said he’d send me other tank half (if he ever found it!) Shipping to be determined . Can deliver to Davenport Swap in couple weeks.

I see those tanks on The Cabe, and ebay, be patient and you will find one.
There are some bike shows, like Hartville,Ohio is coming up real soon.

This appears original, and is the first C-Model with a tank I have seen with the "straight" rear stays, to me it is a DD frame all day long but that is a discussion that has apparently been open and shut already, still don't understand the logic but...

All of the C-Model bikes with straight rear stays that I have seen with deep interweb searches (only about 4-5) have been built up as Klunkers, or were OP bikes but no fenders, tank, rack - or just a bare frame. These are scarce IMO. It can be difficult to find a rear fender that fits these! And what an interesting badge! My guess is the serial starts with an "A5" or higher number (1937), even though there is no silver ray, hornlight, flat braces! These C-Models baffle me $#!+, but I love 'em.
