Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Are the wheels on this Ross anything special? Or just off brand …..Friend gave it to me, but I know nothing about this brand of 10 speed bikes

Don't know anything about them, but they're still selling built wheels.


Your wheels may be an aftermarket replacement set. Nutted rear axle, 27" and Shrader valves, probably came with steel rims.
The front Q/R skewer is anything but period for the bike - a period Q/R skewer would be internal cam.

The rim shape is also not period for the bike - '80s rims would be the flatter cross section below.

And not a worry, you improve any bike when you improve the wheels - most of my old bikes are on new Velocity rims w/ Phil hubs.
