FICHT 150

Wore out three sets of tires already!
1986 vintage of the second, S52 version. I have about half a dozen of the Older S5 hubs in use around here, but, have no experience with this second version. It was given to an elderly friend involved with the Lake Pepin Tour, but, he stayed on 3 speeds until the end. He gave it to me.
It was supposedly rebuilt, has fresh grease coming out past the labyrinth seals, is missing the indicators and nuts to bolt it on. Seems to work when chucked up in the vise.
What you see, is what you get.

How many spoke holes does the hub have?
Does this hub take one or two indicator chains?
Is an Indicator chain present?

It is a 36 spoke hub. I don’t believe Sturmey Archer had any 40 spoke wheels by 1986. The S5.2 uses two indicator spindles. I noted I don’t have them, but, believe it uses the 135mm version, which, is commonly available. The axle is the 6 1/4” version.
