Chip Foose with Coker Tires, 1st run.😎 Keeping tally, 88 miles on them, so far.🥰

My journey of self improvement in my early 40’s took another step forward this week when I got the brackets for my braces put on!
Last year I lost 60+ pounds, got glasses (finally!) now fixing my teeth.
Selling a lot of my antiques, bikes and parts to help finance my own improvements!

Picked up the pink bike for parts. It has what looks to have been an NOS mid 70s stut and seat added to it after the refurb. Then somebody let it sit outside for a while...

These two came as a package deal, but a buddy of mine wanted the Higgins to match his men's model. I'm out of room and he already has a few refurbished ladies' bikes like the pink one, so it was a win/win. It has an L triangle hub with an L serial, so its a 47.

The funny thing was when we found out where the seller lives, his triangle shaped lot literally butts up to the back corner of mine. If it weren't for the tree growing through the gate when I bought the place, I could have literally drug them home through his back yard. Ha, AND he has his own 80s and up vintage road bike shop in his garage. Always nice to meet a collector in your own neighborhood, even if they're into a different style than you. I may have to post up pictures of his Italian 58 with an SW 3sp to get some info when he gets to that project.

Wasn't going to post this yet, but what the heck.
I've waited for quite some time for a nice 1936-37 Monark Silver King "Wingbar" to come my way! Thanks to 2 good pals (members), you know who you are, it happened Thursday morning.

Told myself no more RC cars until I sell some then this shows up on my local market place . Tamiya Clodbuster with every conceivable option you could buy in the late 1980s at a price that was really reasonable. I arrive at his house it’s an older couple that’s moving and he was the original owner and builder of this truck. He also had a Nitro boat a rare Jeep , a Drag Camaro and a buggy I bought everything he had available.
