A good antique sale here in Winnipeg, Canada. I spotted a few gems with a little help from my friends. A couple of nice Japan wood boats from the late 40's early 50's. ITO, tops in quality. I have quite a few. The larger double cabin 15 1/2" called "Jamaica L" ( there was 13", a Jamaica- S for small) is quite rare and is mostly original. Note pencil #36 matching the parts to this boat.
The G-3 ( 13") is missing the hatch and I already have one, but it's still a worthy boat, may sell it. Both work after plenty of fiddling. ( made a missing cabin roof light connector from a paperclip/soldered.) Connections are usually needing TLC after decades sitting. Patience is needed, I'm short on that... I baked the bow light using a 4-D cell battery pack, boat only uses 2. Dang, never learn! Also a neat empty toy OB box with cool graphics.
The HUGE double decker Triang Minic pressed steel bus is a bruiser, all original just shy of 24" long, 12" tall. It belonged to a collector I've known for decades and he's owned it 25 years. He's downsizing like I'm trying to? Ha! I'll clean this up later, once I can work outside more comfortably. It's full of dust bunnies. There is a bell underneath that gets triggered somehow I need to investigate.
I got a 1977 Winnipeg license plate for the 1976 Swing bike. A large dealer VFI Evinrude outboards sign ( is 1/2 of what would have gone into a frame) that looks close to NOS. A couple of Texaco oil/solvet cans and a Manitoba motor league all metal badge that will look sweet on the lower rear tunk lid of my 1958 Pontiac Bonneville 370 Tri-power. I had one on my last '58 Pontiac ( black one in pic)

My mirrors for my '58 Pontiac ( aftermarket close to NOS) arrived from Ebay. I actually had a buddy put them on ( he was doing front suspension work and coil springs on the car) as he's fussier ( and younger/better eyesite) than I am. Kinda mirror overkill ( stock mirrors are ok, passenger side uselsss/don't think they were placed right when the car was restored) but that's what 50's cars were. Glitz and glamour.
