Lighting was unfortunately pretty harsh as it was full sunlight at 9:00 a.m., meaning that the sun was blasting practically sideways across the lot instead of from overhead where it belongs, but in any case it was a gorgeous day.

MY WALLET'S GONE! MY WALLET'S GONE!
Another great day at the Chicagoland Klassic. Started off typical. Clamp holding the exhaust pipe of my old truck gave out halfway to the swap so had to do an emergency operation. Fender brace did the trick. Getting the nut off that rusty screw roadside was a chore but we prevailed!
At the swap all my junk was selling fast! Did a quick early walk around and spotted this Killer Manton & Smith Golden Zephyr. Mine! Thanks again Joe!
I decided today was the day I’d unveil my Harley Motorcyke build I completed last fall. It performed great and received lots of love!
I am very proud of it!
The lady brought her 35 Hawthorne “Rooster” we had a ball selling and riding around. She missed last year because her back was out. Great to have my sidekick with me!
Grabbed some shots of this crazy little low rider. Smallest one I’ve ever seen..
Was thrilled to finally lay eyes on the “Zep” creation by @the tinker insanely cool!
Should have got more photos of it but was living in the moment. @the tinker
Bonus*** here’s a shot of our album cover to be released on vinyl late July-
title track “Who locked the bikes up?!?”
It was a great day, great weather, great people.

Har! We did not actually meet today, but I was standing right next to you looking at stuff as you were telling this story to someone else, and heard you relate the whole thing.

Cruisin' on my Bluebird
It was a great swap! Everyone misses Mark Mattei, but I'm sure he was there in spirit. RIP.
I watched the weather forecast every night this week, hoping the rain would hold off and it did. It was a perfect day! My big score was this Colson frame.
Thanks to fellow CABER, Potter "the mailman." When he said, "I'll take 20 for it, " old tinker about dropped his load right there. That's the fastest a 20 ever came out of my wallet. Also a big thanks to Caber, Bikeman76. He provided the silver fenders for the Zep and over the years many parts. Can't thank him enough. He brought this killer Manton and Smith and was happy to see it go home with Caber, byke!punk.
It will fit in well with his other two. Everyone loved the Harley. He did an awesome job building it.
I spotted two bikes that I really liked. The Comet , shown below .
And this crusty survivor.
A great time for everyone!
