Parts and catalog WANTED for a 1892 Star lever driven safety bicycle (some parts may interchange from regular high wheel safety Stars)
1) Square threaded spoke nuts that fit inside the grooves of the rear wheel hub flanges.
(2) Oil hole sealing thumbscrews that fit lever pivots and hubs.
(3) Flat spring steel foot lever return springs that coil up inside driving drums on each side of rear wheel OR who makes these flat return springs? Or if anyone can measure the width, thickness and length of tjheir original springs and email me photos and dimensions.
(4) Truss head slotted screws that are 1/4"-24 left hand thread that screw into the ends of the rear axle and act as a stop screw if the larger right hand threaded hex nut on each side of the rear axle starts to come loose.
(5) A saddle and/or the cradle springs/brackets as shown in photos.
(6) The hooks for the leather drive belts that attach to the foot levers shown in photos.
(7) 1892 H.B. Smith Machine Co., Smithville, New Jersey STAR original bicycle catalog or copies of covers and pages would be fine.
