This is a green Raleigh 1960's RSW Compact 3 speed folder. If I understand Sturmey Archer markings this is a 1968 hub - but you can see the markings on the hub photo. Front tire original Dunlop, rear a replacement. Yes, that is green Gemtape on the bars - don't ask me why. The folding action on the bars is finicky - it works but it was tougher to loosen than on the other I have. It would probably be good to disassemble, clean and lube the spring parts. Action on the 3 speed hub was a little stiff on first attempted gear shift, but it hasn't been used in many many years. The hub probably only needs lube but the twist grip worked fine as I cycled through the gears a few times (with pressure released on pedals during gear switch). Cables and housing are original (or period replacements because they haven't been touched), as are the brake pads and pedals. Original seat - rear face a bit ragged - forgot to take a photo. Basket original with wood liners. the head of one of the snaps is missing but probably an easy replacement. The basket with this one is odd depth, not sure if the liner panels pull out so this can be folded down to fit in same box as bike. 45 lbs for shipping purposes. I work office hours so if you post an offer and don't see a response until after 6 p.m. West Coast time I'm not rejecting necessarily, it may simply be no time to hit my computer. I am also posting an older (I believe) grey model separately -no basket.
