I live for the CABE
Not sure of this is the right place to post this bike. Something between cruiser, BMX and mountain bike.
It is a Cro-Moly frame, 2 speed, with 26" wheels.
I found only one more on-line and is a 5 speed.
Any info are welcome.

this dates from the Huffman time

certainly is an odd duck

note presence of chain stay stop; same frame employed to offer a derailleur geared model

does it exhibit a transfer indicating national origin?

The 1983 (USA) catalog version is a completely different beast:

It has a Made in Taiwan sticker

The rearbhub is Shimano marked ED - 1980 made. I found one online, the model is: SG-2S10.
The crank is Sugino BMX Japan.

Just add these info about components:
  • Sugino BMX Japan one piece crank set;
  • 2 speed rear hub model: Shimano SG-2S10 with original trigger shifter;
  • the brakes are MX marked Raleigh;
  • Araya 26 x 1.75 rims, front hub is Suzue, marked 2A;
  • KKT FMX lightning pedals.

Curious as to what the seat tube decal is just above the BB shell. I was also curious as to how the year determination was made. Serial #? Fork design looks newer than '82.

Edit: Oops, I didn't see the new set of photos before my post. "Made in Taiwan"
