1950 Schwinn before and after

Just wanted to share a before and after of a 1950 Schwinn a purchased from Wes (The Fender Doctor). It was his rider for many years and he decide it was time to part with it. If you can see from the pics it had a lot of goodies. 2 speed new departure, front expander brake, locking front fork and a really nice set of s2 rims. I had a few spare parts so I decide to dress up the bike a bit by giving a quick paint job to a set fenders and a chain guard I had laying around. I also put some Schwinn bottle cap pedals

and Goodyear G3 white walls on it. It’s now my new rider.

Thanks tried to match patina of the bike but didn’t quite succeed. I think it’s good enough for a rider.
