Old'n'Slow Bikes

Look Ma, No Hands!
Twelve (12) tooth, one inch pitch/'skip tooth' rear cogs. I laser cut these. Made from .118 thick stainless steel, with a brushed finish. These will fit modern Shimano hubs or any hub with the '3 dog interface' with a 1.375 hub diameter. Most common is the modern Shimano and the vintage Sturmey Archer hubs. I have had this design field tested by two separate individuals from 'The Cabe' as I do not have a skip tooth bike. Both say it is spot on. Keep in mind, these are ever so slightly less than 1/8" thick, with no dish, so be aware that some 'slop' on side to side may be present when running a skip tooth chain. Just trying to be honest, but the testers said there were no problems.

Also, still making and selling 24 tooth and 28 tooth rear cogs for both Bendix and Sturmey/Shimano!

Cost is 25.00 each. This price includes shipping to U.S.

If you want one, please email me at [email protected]. That is the best way for me to keep track of the orders.

I have been running my big 26t 1" pitch sprockets again with the 12t 1" pitch cog, big difference. Highly recommended for bringing your big ring bikes back into a normal range. The cog has a special, longer tooth design that eliminates "chain shift" caused by the chain moving back and forth on the cog between braking and pedaling. Very low price actually, and they bring back the ability to actually ride your old 26t skip sprockets again. Also available in 1/2" pitch 24t and 28t as mentioned. Everyone with three tab hubs need a few of these..
