This will be well worth the wait....I can say that to everyone for sure 100%. Can you picture what the cog looks like? It will make function and form compatible again. Mike is putting tons of time into these and all for fun. If I were you, you should today send in your order for how many you need or you may be in the back of the line... The price may change as well and up to Mike but well worth every penny..

Something else to add... If you have ever seen a Mattatuck hub, the internals are compatible with a New Departure. The Mattatuck hub takes a Bendix sized 3 tab sprocket. So if you swap the Mattatuck driver into your New Departure hub, you can use these larger sprockets.

Mattatuck driver used with an ND hub

The sprockets for standard New Departure Model D drivers only go up to 11T in 1" pitch (22T in 1/2" pitch). With a Mattatuck driver any of the Bendix sized tabbed sprockets including these future 12T and 14T 1" pitch from Mike would be possible.

The DD 2-speed and Tripl 3-speed used larger sprockets but they do not mount to a Model D driver. They used a different coupling for those hubs so the sprockets are not interchangable.

@WillWork4Parts do we know for sure if the Mattatuck driver needs to have the larger (1.415") Bendix center hole size or could it take the SA size (1.375") too? I've never seen one in person.

I've been trying to keep track of the different sprocket sizes offered by some of the popular multi-speed hub makers. Let me know if anyone has corrections or additions.

@Old'n'Slow Bikes, I'm not trying ot hijack this thread 😃 Hoping this helps more people see the possibilities of how these sprockets can be used. 1/2" pitch 3 tabbed sprockets generally tap out at 22-24T, and 1" pitch 3 tabbed sprockets with more than 11T are sorely absent from the market. Looking forward to updating this table with your 1" pitch sprockets soon.

F&S also made 14, 15 (rare) and 24T 1/2" pitch sizes:

"Z" is just the German abbreviation for teeth (Zähne) and the W and X are year codes (1978 and 1979).

Let me confirm diameter first...I'll get some pictures when I get home from work, now you have me questioning which sprocket I put on what last night. I have another diameter of 3 tab driver to throw in the mix, the Nankai...I'm very certain that one isn't popular enough to warrant a new size of sprocket to be made though. It may be important to note so that folks don't purchase that substitute driver by mistake.
Do you have another thread tracking the 3 tab sprockets and drivers?? I'll dive into that rabbit hole another week...

Edited to add diameter of Mattatuck driver: 1.3790", so it is a hair smaller than Bendix and a fraction of a hair too large to take the SA sprocket.

I rode Mikes' 12 tooth 1" pitch cog today and must say bravo. I was running a slightly stretched chain (1/16" in 12" section) but not a sound. Dead Silent. 24t x 12t ring/cog combination. I changed out the 11t Ichi. The bikes' gearing changed noticeably, speeding the spin up so neutral seemed easier and high was just right. Low seemed to be real low, more useable when needed. 3spd SC3 Sturmey. Very interested in putting the bigger 26t Shelby front chain~ring back on.
