Here we have a Very Rare 1936 Indian, built in Germany for Indian.
Remarkable survivor in house-painted condition. Tank is steel and accurate and was fabricated 20 some years ago by Ron Lewis, the same gentleman who made a handful of Aerocycle tanks back in the day. Very unique and interesting bike, with a wild frame design, and adjustable steering dampener !!
I believe everything is correct and original: skirted fenders, guard, chainring, rack, dropstand, badge, etc. Bringing this bike to MLC or Monroe for pickup (or have a friend pick it up for you). If you live in CA, Quinn Fonseca has agreed to pick up at MLC and transport to CA for a couple hundred bucks. One of the Rarest and most Unique tank bikes of the prewar era.
Don’t miss it . .
Photos are the best description; please check ‘em out.
