1940 Schwinn "ACE" badged BA-107 Autocycle deluxe... orig paint etc complete

Nice enough survivor ACE 40' bike. Cool Schwinn model with the 1st year Fender light, straight bar tank etc..
Ushered in the new features by Schwinn for 1940. Bike is maybe a 7 on a 10 scale. Paint is the Darker version
of the maroon/dark red color and eventually seen on WZ whizzers after the war and ocassionally on B6's...
always with the Red pinstripes which in my opinion a nicer touch that the common black ones. Cool bike
and one of my favorite Schwinn models/designs. Excellent Hi-Lo 1st year new version expander brake,
Restored and slightly patina'd / aged Mesinger saddle, 1940/41 only Xbars, bike overall is pretty darn
straight with the usual wear and year for an over 80 year old machine, paint still shines. Nice Chaintread US Royal tires
on board, feather guard is straight, usual patina on the thin chrome on these, Schwinn Cycle lock with
original key. Neat bike that really needs nothing but a new rider and good home.
Will include "ACE" decals for the faded ones on tank and frame if you desire.
