Notice H is 41 I is 42 so... I have a post war with H and have heard of many others and also post war and prewar with H-I-J. It's not a science but almost certainly a 46. Also early post war the crank won't have a date stamp.

Looks to have the tube style rear fender mount and the seat post bolt doesnt extend past the nut which is typical of a raised AS bolt

Ok. Been awhile with ballon for me, lost some of my memory with details.

Need more detailed shots, rear hub, seat post clamp bolt. Kickstand tube angle. Looks like a 1946 or possibly late 1945.

Rear hub and wheel is not original. Another brand wheel.

I'm gonna say a 46, just post war. Of course front drop outs so post war for sure and a very late/early post war serial. Did you run serial on Schwinn site ? It's for 52 and up serial numbers stamped on rear stay. Earlier records were lost and don't apply on that site.

I did and yes. I do have a book at home, Im not home.

Next couple days, when I get the bike, I will snap a shot of the kickstand cam. I left the bike in the country and back home in the city now.

One more question. Is the rear top fender Bridge tubular or it is it the U channel type? I can’t tell in the previous pictures one way or the other. I’ll guess that it’s the new channel with the kickstand tube stand being on the 45 angle.

U shaped. It is different than the second photo from a 52.
