1949 Schwinn head badge options

I have a 1949 DX frame I’m going to build up that came with no head badge. It’s not going to be a stock restoration by any stretch, but I’d like one appropriate for the era. Most of the info I find is either prewar or 50s and newer so I was wondering if some of y’all could school me in what options there were for head badges in 49.

My 49 Hornet has a standard Schwinn oval badge in black.

My 48 is badged Packard. Pick any badge you like! however past 1950 the only badges were schwinn & bf goodrich.. schwinn stopped all other badges besides these 2 after 1950

Schwinn moved to the model of the purpose built dealership network sometime in the 1950s it seems, but I’m trying to pin down the year they abandoned the practice of badging bicycles for other retailers.

Here's what I would do; measure your badge hole spacing, find a badge you like with that spacing, put it on the bike.

Any number of the non-footed shield badges would be appropriate for 49.
