I bought this back in October to potentially use on a restoration of a Lincoln I want to do someday. I’m now thinking of keeping the original one on it with all the patina so that would free this one up. But I don’t really want 2 with the same badge.
I’m currently the high bidder on this one and hope this is the one that goes on it. It seems the most appropriate for it based on what people are saying.
It would be kinda plain, but the bike will probably be black (leaning towards a pale pea green or pale yellow on the front done in a factory two tone style) so I could also throw one of these on there.
The Lincoln, Cadillac, and Packard are generally seen on prewar bikes. The first thing you need to do is measure your hole spacing to see what will fit. Here is a badge I like because I have Harleys. Pinnell was the oldest Harley dealer in Richmond, VA. They also sold bikes-Mostly Westfield (Columbia) products but did sell Schwinn and I believe Snyder bikes as well. Here is a post war Schwinn I saw at MLC in 2016 with the Pinnell badge although the Schwinn version did not say Pinnell on it. The pic with the two badges has the Schwinn version at right.
